It's back ...
After a break of more than ten years, Hertford carnival is returning, and everyone is invited to join in the fun!
The date; Sunday 24 June 2012
The venue; town-wide
The theme; A Festival of Nations
Roll up, roll up
As well as the traditional procession through the town, entertainment and stalls are being planned in the grounds of Hertford Castle.
The carnival procession will assemble at Hartham, and will leave at 2pm to wind its way around the town.
Either side of the procession, from 12pm to 6pm, there will be stalls, entertainment and refreshments in the grounds of Hertford Castle.
A fun fair will also take place on Hartham.
A detailed plan, including a timetable of events and details of stalls, will be found here nearer the time.
Come and join us to make sure the new carnival goes with a bang!
